Creek Week celebrates the importance of our urban nature areas with volunteer work and educational events. As many as 800 residents have participated in previous years.

This year Creek Week will be from April 19th to April 27th. On Saturday April 19th volunteers will clean up trash at a number of sites. There will be a work day on Saturday, April 26th when volunteers will work on open space areas in Rocklin, Roseville, and Placer County. Work will include planting, removing invasive weeds, and other maintenance. During the week there will be nature walks with knowledgeable guides, presentations about wild life, and field visits to restoration projects in the watershed.

Please check the Site List (located under Creek Week Downloads in the right column) for a location you're interested in and sign up yourself and/or group for the clean-up!

Placer County Creek Week is organized by a committee of local schools, businesses and agencies led by Dry Creek Conservancy. Donations are solicited from local government and businesses to cover organizational costs and Creek Week T-shirts for all volunteers.
